PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drive a recording medium by reducing the influence due to the eccentricity. SOLUTION: By a DSP(digital signal processor) 71 of a servo processor 34, a TAOdsp signal as a feedback control signal is produced based on a tracking error signal inputted from an RF processing part and outputted to a control microcomputer 36. The feedback control signal in the specified period during one rotation of a CD-R(compact disk-recordable) is measured by the control microcomputer 36. By the control microcomputer 36, the feedback control signal subjected to sample-and-hold in the specified period one before is multiplied by a factor N, and a TAOdac signal as a feedforward control signal is produced. The value of the factor N is set to be larger gradually for every one rotation of the CD-R.
