ROPE DELIVERY DEVICE AND REPLACEMENT METHOD FOR ELEVATOR MAIN ROPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rope delivery device capable of delivering a plurality of main ropes all together without kinking, and a replacement method for the elevator main rope capable of replacing new and old main ropes at once. SOLUTION: This rope delivery device comprises a vertical support shaft and a plurality of rope receiving bases rotatably inserted to the support shaft and arranged while vertically keeping a space. The rope receiving base is formed of a tray for placing a rope and a tray base for rotatably receiving the tray, and a sliding member for rotating the tray with less resistance is arranged on the tray surface of the tray base. This replacement method of main rope comprises the process of delivering new elevator main ropes wound on the respective rope receiving bases at one and replacing them by old elevator ropes of the number to be replaced at once.
