POWDER MOLDING PRESS, AND METHOD FOR FEEDING MOLDING POWDER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide powder feeding technology of a powder molding press capable of minimizing uneven compaction and size-segregation of molding powder which are caused when leveling off the molding powder filled in a die. SOLUTION: Movement of the molding powder is restricted by a partitioning member by partitioning at least a surface layer area of the molding powder filled in the die 15 into a plurality of small divisions in the surface direction by the partitioning member 19. In order to further reduce uneven compaction and size-segregation, the molding powder in each small division is stirred by a grain mixing device 23 having an oscillation needle 23a to be inserted in the small divisions by the partitioning member and an oscillating mechanism for giving oscillation to the oscillation needle after the molding powder is leveled off.
