CORE SETTER IN CENTRIFUGAL CASTING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a cycle time for casting a tube by quickly performing the fitting and the taking-out of a core to a metallic mold in a centrifugal casting apparatus. SOLUTION: A core setter 23 for fitting the core 5 for forming the inner peripheral surface of the tube having a receiving hole at the one end into the metallic mold 1 for centrifugally casting this tube, is provided with a core ring 24 holding the core 5 and a setter part 25 which supports this core ring 24 and can approach or separate to the tube receiving hole forming part of the metallic mold 1. This setter part 25 is constituted so that the core ring 24 is connectably/releasably and freely rotatably supported on the setter part 25.
