PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid curable resin composition having low adhesive power to a UV ink cured layer and suitable for use as an optical fiber coating material, particularly as an optical fiber tape material. SOLUTION: The curable resin composition for an optical fiber contains (a) urethane (meth)acrylate, (b) a vinyl polymerizable monomer and (c) 2- methyl-1-[4-(methylthio)phenyl]-2-morpholino-propan-1-one.
