PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a common interface between device drivers 5 operated inside a kernel 8, to accelerate data transfer and to improve the maintainability of data. SOLUTION: A common interface driver 7 between the device drivers 5 controlling devices 6 connected to the electronic computer is provided. The common interface driver 7 is operated in a kernel mode 8 and provides an interface with an application program 4. The common interface driver 7 receives and analyzes an instruction from the application program 4 and originates instructions to each of the device drivers 5.
