PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control system by which remote control is applied to a remote control robot through a network over a wide range; and to provide the remote control robot. SOLUTION: A flying type remote control system 17 presents robot state information and robot remote control information for a robot access request made by a supervisor 19 from a supervisor terminal 191 through an access point 18 and a data communication network 8 to the supervisor terminal 191; transmits control operation instructions, through the data communication network 8, to a flying type remote control robot 2 to make the robot 2 implement control operation with respect to robot remote control direction information from the supervisor terminal 191; and receives operation result information as a result indicative of the implementation of the control operation by the robot 2 and the robot state information indicative of the present state of the result for presenting them to the supervisor terminal 191.
