PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably hold tableware by guiding the outer peripheral sections of the tableware, and at the same ;time, to facilitate the putting in/taking out of the tableware by making it possible to hold the tableware from the side in a tableware basket for placing stacked tableware. SOLUTION: This tableware basket is made of a heat-resistant synthetic resin, and a single row housing section or a plurality of rows of housing sections for the stacked tableware are provided. A vertical gap in which a hand can be placed is respectively provided on side walls being confronted with each other of the housing sections. At the same time, the tableware basket is constituted in such a manner that a flat surface arc-like partitioning plate for holding confronted both sides of the tableware is installed in the housing sections.
