<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the buying/selling system of merchandise/service for enabling a purchaser to pay a fixed amount of sum (price) in advance, and a seller to select merchandise/service which can be presently sold or which can be sold in the future (including such a case that the price is not determined), and to allow the purchaser to purchase them by notifying of the necessary quantity of the merchandise/service in a necessary time. <P>SOLUTION: A seller 20 and a purchaser 30 are provided with terminal equipment, respectively, and connected through a network 70 to each other. The seller 20 applies identification information unique to the purchaser 30 who has paid the price, and stores it in a purchaser database 50, and stores sellable merchandise/service information in a merchandise/service database 60, and transmits it to the purchaser 30 by referring to it as necessary. The purchaser 30 decides his or her desired merchandise/service, and transmits the quantity, purchase time and a reception method or the like to the seller 20, and receives the merchandise/service.
