SHEET CONVEYING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet conveying device equipped with constitution for surely preventing a blocking phenomenon that sheets are stuck to each other by melted toner by efficiently cooling the sheet ejected after fixing.

SOLUTION: The sheet conveying device 200 is equipped with a conveying means 201 arranged at a position after a fixing stage to heat the sheet on which a toner image is carried, and equipped with constitution to eject the sheet after the fixing stage toward a storing part 132 in which the sheet after the fixing stage is stacked by the conveying means 201. The device 200 is provided with a cooling part 300 for bringing the sheet into contact with cooling air in a sheet stacking direction in the storing part 132 at a sheet eject position to the storing part 132.
