<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting module in which temperature difference occurring in a substrate can be reduced, and to provide a display and an illuminator employing it. <P>SOLUTION: The light emitting module (1) comprises a heat sink (10), a substrate (11) provided on the heat sink (10), and a plurality of light emitting elements (12) mounted on a part of the major surface (11A) of the substrate (11) wherein the substrate (11) consists of a first region (11a) located directly under the plurality of light emitting elements (12), and a second region (11b) surrounding the first region (11a), and thermal resistance between the major surface (11A) and the heat sink (10) in the first region (11a) is lower than that between the major surface (11A) and the heat sink (10) in the second region (11b). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
