<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drug-eluting stent having both immediate effectiveness and durability capable of efficiently sending a bioactive substance to a target part whether it is liposoluble or water-soluble by coating a biocompatible nanoparticle in which the liposoluble or water-soluble bioactive substance is enclosed with a high enclosure rate and which is excellent in cell transferability as well, and also to provide its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: The biocompatible nanoparticle 1 in which the bioactive substance is enclosed and whose surface is positive charge modified is electrically stuck to a metal fiber 10 constituting a stent main body. Then, a formed nanoparticle layer 11 is impregnated with the solution of a biodegradable polymer and dried and a biodegradable polymer layer 12 is formed. Since each nanoparticle 1 is held without flocculating by the biodegradable polymer layer 12, after the DES is made to indwell in a living body, the nanoparticle 1 is gradually eluted by the degradation of the biodegradable polymer layer 12 and efficiently taken into the cell. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
