The sensor has an enclosure (4) in a cylindrical form with an opening at an end and a hollow space for accommodating the opening. A side wall of the enclosure has a groove, which extends from an opening-sided end of the enclosure to an outer side of the side wall. The enclosure is inserted into a hole of a component from outerside, before an insertion section of a sensor body (3) is inserted into the hollow space from the outer side of the component. A metal spring (5) stays at the opening-sided end of the enclosure, while the spring is accommodated in the groove.
