<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-reliability "optical pickup" capable of efficiently radiating outside the heat generated in a light emitting-receiving unit while reducing weight and cost by using a chassis made of a synthetic resin. <P>SOLUTION: The light emitting-receiving unit 10, a flexible wiring substrate 13, and a radiation cover 12, and the like are fixed to a mounting face 21d of a chassis 21 by preparing a groove part 21b in the neighborhood of the mounting face 21d of the chassis 21 made of the synthetic resin, inserting an erecting part 22a of a radiation shield 22 made of a metallic material of good thermal conductivity into this groove part 21b, and also inserting a fixing screw 15 into a screw insertion hole 21c from the mounting face 21d of the chassis 21 and fastening the fixing screw into a screw hole 22b of the erecting part 22a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
