PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ring seal with a long service life in usage, easily adapting to various use of closure including axial closure in a closing joint between a fuel tank and a fuel module, resisting rotation in attachment and a vacuum state, and having durability and reliability by comparatively simple design, and economic manufacture and assembly. SOLUTION: The ring seal is provided with a main part, and a tail part extending from the main part. The main part is provided with an axial outer face and an axial inner face as seen in a cross section and a state not compressed. The outer face defines a first enclosure lobe, and the inner face defines a second enclosure lobe sharing an axial center line with the first enclosure lobe. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
