PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmitter, which is superior in power transmission performance using a coil that is constituted by winding a foil-form conductor in plate spiral form, and a transmitter and a receiver for the power transmitter. SOLUTION: A transmitting section 3 of the power transmitter 100 comprises a transmission control circuit 3a, an AC power source 3b, a transmitting coil 1, where the foil-form conductor is wound spirally, and a non-polar capacitor 13 for improving the power factor by negating the reactance components of the transmitting coil 1, and the receiver 4 comprises a receiving coil 2, and a reception control circuit 4a, and a load RL. When defined that the effective series resistance of the single transmitting coil 1 is Rw(Ω), the effective series resistance of the transmitting coil 1 when both ends of the receiving coil 2 facing the transmitting coil 1 are short-circuited is Rs(Ω), and the highest frequency that the transmitting coil 1 fulfills the relation of Rs≥Rw is f1(Hz), the receiving coil 2 is selected so that f1(Hz) may be 200 kHz or higher, and the frequency fd(Hz) to drive the transmitting coil 1 is set to frequency of f1(Hz) or under.
