PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive module and an electronic device equipped with the drive module which reduces risk of a damage or a fault which may be caused by a shock such as a physical drop even when the drive module is reduced in size and weight. SOLUTION: The drive module 1 includes: a lens frame 4; a module frame 5 containing the lens 4 inside; and a drive means for driving the lens frame 4 with respect to the module frame 5 in a predetermined direction. Inside the module frame 5, a positioning reception portion 5E is arranged for regulating the movement range in the predetermined direction of the lens frame 4. Outside the lens frame 4, a positioning portion 4E is arranged to be brought into abutment with the positioning reception portion 5E of the module frame 5 in the predetermined direction.
