PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a display control device which allows a display drive unit of a display device constituted so that the resetting from the stop state of display is performed by a control command from a host, to perform automatic resetting of display without exerting a large burden on a host side from an abnormal display state caused by an ESD. SOLUTION: In compliance with a control command received from a host, upon detection of the flow of data to a bus within the constant time from a stop start state (S2) during stop state (S2 to S6) of display due to resetting in the display device performing the display using the display data received via the bus from the host, the display device is made to shift to the state (S7) to perform drive of the ordinary display regardless of the presence or absence of the signal reception of the control command by the display drive unit and on the other hand, after elapse of constant time, the display drive unit is made to continue to drive the display of the stop state (S6).
