PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the degradation in the quality of an image display due to reflection of external light on both sides of a front plate, to provide a breakage prevention structure of a panel against impact from the front, and to provide a structure to prevent the displacement between an image center of the panel and that of a bezel aperture. SOLUTION: The weight of a panel unit 20 is reduced by lowering the mass of a chassis 2 supporting a display panel 1, and moving the circuit boards and the like 9, 10 to be mounted to a separate chassis 4. Further, there is provided the structure in which the panel unit 20 moves backward to absorb impact energy on collision of a foreign matter and in which the panel unit 20 is positioned by guides 5 separately disposed on the separate chassis 4.
