PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rugged substrate for obtaining organic or inorganic photoelectric devices, such as light-emitting diodes, that feature improved light extraction efficiency and is free from problems like short circuit-related failures and life reduction.SOLUTION: An optical diffusion sheet 1 is characterized in that; a proportion of particles 22c having diameters no less than 0.5 μm and less than 3 μm to a dry solid content of a light diffusion layer 20 is no less than 2 mass%; a proportion of particles 22a having diameters exceeding 9 μm is no more than 15 mass%; some of the particles 22 form protrusions T on a surface of the light diffusion layer 20; total protrusion area St, defined as a sum of area of the protrusions T, occupies 20-50% of diffusion layer area Sa defined as area of the light diffusion layer 20; and film thickness at recesses formed between the protrusions T is 3-12 μm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
