PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection device capable of precisely and stably detecting a defect of a pinhole and the like even when the number of light sources is minimized, capable of keeping a load to the can small during inspection, capable of preventing a can body from being damaged, capable of reducing a setting space by suppressing an outer shape of the inspection device, and capable of reducing equipment costs and running costs.SOLUTION: An inspection device 1 of a can detects light leaked into a bottomed cylindrical can 100 having a can body 101 and a can bottom 102 by irradiating the can 100 with light from the outside of the can 100, and includes: a light source 2 for irradiating the can 100 with light from the outside of the can 100; seal means 11 abutting against an opening end part 101a of the can body 101 from a can axis O direction and closing the opening end part 101a; detection means 12 capable of detecting light leaked outside from the inner part of the can 100 through the inner part of the seal means 11; and holding means 3 for holding the can bottom 102 and making the can 100 rotate around the can axis O for the light source 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
