摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a single cell to secure a large field of view range as having resolution power capable of identifying the single cell, and to observe a large sample with high through-put.SOLUTION: A fluorescent microscope 1 is provided that comprises: a sheet illumination optical system 2 that makes sheet-like excitation light along an incidence plane T incident upon a sample P; an imaging optical system 3 that includes an optical axis S crossing the incidence plane T, and photographs fluorescence to be emitted from the sample P to acquire a fluorescent image; an intensity distribution fluctuation unit 4 that fluctuates an intensity distribution of the excitation light by the sheet illumination optical system 2 at a fluctuation width smaller than a thickness of the sheet-like excitation light in an optical axis S direction with respect to the sample P; and an image processing unit 6 that creates a fluorescent image of fluorescence emitting from a thin sheet-like area thinner than the thickness of the excitation light on the basis of a fluctuated state of the intensity distribution by the intensity distribution fluctuation unit 4 and an amount of change of luminance in the two fluorescent images acquired before and after the fluctuation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
