PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a glass plate that can prevent even a thin glass plate from having a defect in bending cutting.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method for a glass plate comprises: a molding process of molding a glass plate 3 out of molten glass using a down-draw method; a cooling process of cooling the molded glass plate 3 while conveying it perpendicularly downward; and a cutting process of cutting the glass plate 3 by bending the glass plate 3 along a scribe line S after melting a cross section of the glass plate 3 formed with the scribe line S while moving a scribe part 91 perpendicularly downward associatively with the conveyance of the glass plate 3 and simultaneously moving the glass plate 3 movably in a width direction so as to form the scribe line S.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
