PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio receiver capable of suppressing discomfort of voice due to an influence of fading.SOLUTION: In the radio receiver for receiving a broadcast radio wave including voice and obtaining a voice signal from a received signal, a microcomputer 16 functions as a fading detection unit for detecting fading on the basis of variation of an S meter indicating a reception level of the broadcast radio wave, and an analog radio signal processing unit 23, when fading is detected, performs processing of soft mute, high cut and audio filter for the voice signal so as to suppress a change in reproduced sound generated due to an influence of the fading.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
