1. A display apparatus, comprising:
a backlight unit including a plurality of light emitting device packages configured to emit light; and a liquid crystal panel configured to display an image using the light emitted by the backlight unit, wherein the light emitting device packages include: a light emitting device; an encapsulant configured to cover the light emitting device; a first material mixed with the encapsulant to scatter light emitted from the light emitting device or convert a wavelength; and a second material mixed with the encapsulant, and disposed on a layer different from that of the first material in the encapsulant, wherein the first and second materials are made of the same material with different sizes or the same material with the same size, the first and second materials are made of the same material and form solid particles and hollow particles, respectively, or the first and the second material are surface-treated to have different properties.
