PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a stress applied to an imaging element as much as possible, in an imaging device having a function for bending the imaging element, and controlling the curvature thereof variably.SOLUTION: An imaging device includes an imaging element where a plurality of pixels are arranged two-dimensionally, a drive unit for bending the imaging element, and a control unit for controlling the drive unit so as to bend the imaging element with a predetermined curvature. The control unit controls the drive unit so that the stress of the imaging element when not performing the imaging operation is smaller than that of when performing the imaging operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
