PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving electrolyte for an electrolytic capacitor capable of achieving excellent thermal stability, high solubility in solvent, and high voltage resistance.SOLUTION: A chemical compound having the following chemical formula 1 and an electrolyte selected from a group consisting of salt of the chemical compound are dissolved in solvent. Preferably, the amount of the electrolyte is 4.7 to 25.0 wt.%. An electrolytic capacitor having a capacitor element formed by impregnating an electrolyte containing the dissolved electrolyte exhibits excellent voltage resistance characteristics and thermal stability.SELECTED DRAWING: None
