PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve a mismatch of the texture and texture reproduction range of an object to be reproduced.SOLUTION: A data input part 1101 inputs texture data including at least the color information and glossiness information of an object to be reproduced. A color mapping part 1111 maps the color information in the color reproduction range of a texture reproduction device 209 on the basis of information indicating the texture reproduction range of the texture reproduction device 209. A glossiness reproduction range acquisition part 1112 acquires the glossiness reproduction range of the texture reproduction device 209 which can be reproduced by maintaining the color information after mapping on the basis of the information indicating the texture reproduction range. A glossiness mapping part 1113 maps the glossiness information in the glossiness reproduction range. A signal generation part 1110 generates an output signal to be output to the texture reproduction device 209 on the basis of the texture data indicated by the color information and glossiness information after mapping.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
