PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vending machine capable of ensuring adequate visibility of a display part which displays information on a sales product even in the case that it is installed in a dark place or in the case that it is installed in a dark place and illumination for product samples is suppressed or turned off so as to appeal to people a power saving state of the vending machine.SOLUTION: A vending machine 1 includes: a product sample display compartment 7 for displaying product samples S of sales products, which is formed inside a transparent front panel 7a; a plurality of sample racks 8 which are arranged at intervals in the vertical direction in the product sample display compartment 7 and which are for arranging the product samples S; display parts 9 which are disposed on a front end side of each of the sample racks 8, corresponding to the product samples S, and which display information on the sales products. The vending machine 1 also includes an illumination device 11 which is disposed on each of the sample racks 8, in positions below the display parts 9, and illuminates the display part 9 which is located above it by emitting light towards the front panel 7a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11 |
