Disclosed are a voice prompt method and apparatus, which fall within the technical field of computers. The voice prompt method comprises: detecting whether an unread communication message is received; if it is detected that the unread communication message is received, acquiring a signal intensity of a wearable device connected to an electronic device; and carrying out voice prompt on the unread communication message according to a prompt mode corresponding to the signal intensity. By means of acquiring the signal intensity of the wearable device connected to the electronic device when the unread communication message is received, and carrying out voice prompt on the unread communication message according to the prompt mode corresponding to the signal intensity, the problem in the related art of easy leakage in privacy due to the fact that a user is at a more distant position when detailed contents of the unread communication message are subjected to voice prompt in the same prompt mode is solved. The effect of improving the security of user information is achieved. |
