An annular tactile input device comprises a central input panel (101, 204, 304, 404, 501) and an annular input panel (102) integrally joined together as an inner part and an outer part. The annular input panel (102) is provided with a plurality of key fields (201, 202, 203, 301, 302, 303, 401, 402, 403, 405) thereon adjacent to the central input panel (101, 204, 304, 404, 501) respectively. Each of the key fields (201, 202, 203, 301, 302, 303, 401, 402, 403, 405) is provided with at least two slide sensing positions therein. Each of the slide sensing positions corresponds to an input of a preset character respectively. The central input panel (101, 204, 304, 404, 501) and the annular input panel (102) are all provided with dynamic detection devices for sensing click and slide inputs of a user on the surfaces of the central input panel (101, 204, 304, 404, 501) and the annular input panel (102) and generating a corresponding electrical signal. The device has a simple structure and layout, creates a good operation environment for slide inputs and click inputs, reduces key space, the number of keystrokes, typing strength and workload, improves the character input efficiency, and is convenient to use and particularly suitable for a small electronic product such as a smartwatch. |
