<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermal transfer recording medium which is capable of stably forming an image having excellent reproducibility and a high image quality and is satisfactory in the adhesion to a base of paper, plastic or others. <P>SOLUTION: The thermal transfer recording medium contains a first resin of which the release force is 10 N/cm or less in a 180 degree release test with a binder resin of an applied ink and a second resin which has a release force higher than 10 N/cm in the test, in a hot-melt ink image receiving layer cum adhesive layer or in a sublimable ink image receiving layer cum adhesive layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
