<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a heat cycle shrinkage phenomenon while the characteristics of the conventional air electrode and charge collector are maintained. <P>SOLUTION: The lanthanum strontium manganite powder essentially consists of an elemental mixture composed of lanthanum La, strontium Sr, manganese Mn and B site substitutable element(s) M (M is one or more elements selected from the group consisting of Mg, Cr, Co, Ni). Each element in the main components satisfies (La<SB>1-x</SB>Sr<SB>x</SB>)<SB>1-y</SB>Mn<SB>1-z</SB>M<SB>z</SB>O<SB>3+δ</SB>(wherein, δis the oxygen content variously changing in accordance with the composition/temperature or the like). Also, the values of x, y, z, satisfy 0<x<0.40, 0≤y≤0.10, 0<z≤0.10, and y≤0.30-x (in the region of 0<x≤0.20, the inequality is valid), satisfy y≤0.20-0.5x (in the region of 0.20≤x<0.40, the inequality is valid), satisfy y>0.20-x (in the region of 0<x≤0.10, the inequality is valid), satisfy y>0.15-0.5x (in the region of 0.10≤x≤0.20, the inequality is valid), satisfy y>0.11-0.3x (in the region of 0.20≤x≤0.30, the inequality is valid), and satisfy y>0.08-0.2x (in the region of 0.30≤x<0.40, the inequality is valid). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
