PURPOSE: To directly connect unused input and output gate by pumping an input, an output, and a center stage array by using information from unused input and output link arrays and connecting the unused input and output stage switch links. CONSTITUTION: An input stag array 52 is used to represent the allocation of a center stage switch 80 to an input gate 76 passing through an input switch 74, and a center stage array 56 is used to represent the connection of the switch 80. Further, an output stage array 60 represents the allocation of the switch 80 to an output gate 86, passing through an output stage switch 84. Unused input and output link arrays represent an unused input and output switch links of the switch 80. Then information from the unused input and output link arrays is used to pump the array 52, 60, and 56 and the unused input and output link arrays are used to trace the unused input and output switch links. Consequently, the unused input and output gates can be connected directly through the best path. |
