A fluid flow control valve has first and second valve seats (12 and 13) spaced apart within a passageway (11) and a valve member (15) is mounted within the passageway, for sliding movement between the two seats. A spring (20) biases the valve member (15) into engagement with the first seat (12) so that a one-way valve is formed therebetween. The valve member (15) is movable into engagement with the second seat (13) to close the passageway (11) in the event there is excessive fluid flow.
