<p>A pliable dispensing bag (10) containing a flowable material (12) includes an internal rigid adaptor plate (14) having an offset or asymmetric integral nozzle (36) through which the flowable material may be extruded. The deformable material of the bag (10) is clamped around a collar (30) provided at the base of the nozzle (36) so as to form a permanent first leakproof seal. Additional material from the foil bag (12) is gathered at the top of a cap (38) fitted over the nozzle (36) and clamped (54) against the top of the cap (38) to form a removable or temporary second seal and to further hold the cap in place on the nozzle.</p> |
