PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery whose assembly work is made easy by making the connection of a metal plate of a metal plate circuit board with positive and negative pole terminals of a single cell and a protective circuit and at the same time making connection of other charging and discharging terminals unnecessary. SOLUTION: Positive and negative pole terminals of a single cell 1 and a protective circuit 3 are connected with a charging terminal 4 and a discharging terminal 5 using a metal plate circuit board 6 produced by continuously joining a plurality of metal plates 6a by sticking them to insulating layers 6b. That is, the positive and negative pole terminals of the single cell 1 are spot-welded with metal plates through lead plates 10, 13 and the protective circuit 3 is electrically connected with a printed substrate 2. Moreover, the front ends and the rear ends of the metal plates are made to be the charging terminal 4 and the discharging terminal 5 as they are. |
