<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the deterioration of a radio frequency information signal (RF information signal) caused by amplifier noise in an integrated light-emitting and light-receiving element. <P>SOLUTION: The integrated light-emitting and light-receiving element includes a polarizing hologram 10, and this polarizing hologram introduces returned light into a second photo-detecting unit for detecting an RF information signal independently of a first photo-detecting unit into which the returned light is introduced through a prism 6, whereby the number of amplifiers in a detecting unit for detecting the RF information signal can be decreased and an S/N (C/N) of the RF information signal can be improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
