Method of checking with display, the presence of UV rays in sites of solar exposure, and individualized control of radiation. This consists of a method that comprises an apparatus for measuring waves coming from the sky or from the reflection off a reflecting surface, which gives a conventional measurement for the radiation wavelength called type "B" UV rays, and a conventional measurement for the wavelength of type "A" UV rays, both parameters obtained separately, reduced to a scale of numbers or colours for each class of radiation; and it further includes a ruled or sliding circular table with data corresponding to skin type and accumulated radiation exposure, where appropriate, skin colour and age, and possible exposure times in accordance with the said accumulated exposure and according to the expressed conventional measurement. Of application in the manufacture of selective radiation measuring equipment and tables for interpreting radiation amount. <IMAGE>
