FIELD: mechanical engineering; base members of internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: engine has cylinder block with oil sump mounted on lower end face, crankshaft installed in bearing support of cylinder block and reinforcement moulded shaped frame member overlapping lower part of cylinder block and secured in split of cylinder block and oil sump. This member is rigidly secured on main supports of crankshaft, is provided with through holes to pass crankpins and counterweights and is made of porous fiber moulded noise-and-vibration damping material. Small through holes (perforations) can be made in the member. EFFECT: reduced vibration and noise in operation of engine. 5 cl, 3 dwgs |
