PROCESSED FOOD FOR READY-TO-EAT DEEP-FRIED FOOD AND DEEP- FRIED FOOD-LIKE FOOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject processed food free from both cumbersomeness and danger involved in deep fried-food cooking operation comprising frying with hot oil, easy to regulate fat-and-oil content thereof, and easily heat- cookable using a simple heating equipment such as a microwave oven. SOLUTION: This processed food is obtained by coating part or the whole of the surface of a food material for deep-fried foods with mix flour prepared by incorporating 100 pts.wt. of wheat flour with 30-200 pts.wt. of powdery fat, and pref. 1-50 pts.wt. of powdery proteins; wherein the mix powder may be incorporated, other than the above-mentioned components, with 1-150 pts.wt. of grain flour (except wheat flour) or starch or a mixture thereof and 1-400 pts.wt. of bits of fried tempura batter. The other objective deep-fried food-like food is obtained by heat-cooking the above processed food without deep-frying.
