PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a floating characteristic relative to a magnetic disk and an impact relaxing characteristic in the landing operation. SOLUTION: Arranged on a slider member 2 are a first head part 7, which performs recording/reproducing of information signals, for the first magnetic disk DH, in the first area 3a divided through a longitudinal group 4, and a second head part 8 which similarly performs, for the second magnetic disk DL, in the second area 3b. The first and the second magnetic head part 7, 8 are designed such that the face 5, 6 opposite to the disk, on which information signals are recorded/reproduced opposite to the main face of the magnetic disk, is 0.330 mm or more in each width, and that beveling 9, 10 with a tilt angle of 2 deg. or more is applied to each side edge in the width direction.
