PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that only the central part of a photo-sensitive device is utilized in the case of scanning a transparent medium object. SOLUTION: A scanner system for imaging the transparent medium object comprises an illumination source for simultaneously irradiating with light a first scan line and a second scan line of the medium object, a carriage wherein the photo-sensitive device is disposed, and a photoconductor that is fixed on the surface of the carriage.
