A holder 100 for an electronic module such as a SIM card (Fig 3, 160), is connected to a printed circuit board 140 in electronic equipment such as a mobile telephone. The holder has a portion provided with at least one hole 130 to provide access to the printed circuit board for testing. This portion is arranged to be covered by the electronic module when positioned in the holder. The testing may be performed using a spring loaded test probe 150. The holder may be mounted on the circuit by 'surface mount' or 'plated though hole' technology. The holder may be made of moulded plastics material and its underside may be metal plated. Methods of assembling the holder and testing are also claimed. |
