<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further surely transfer moving image data even when a data transfer rate of a storage medium is slow. <P>SOLUTION: When a moving image photographing mode is selected, the transfer speed of the storage medium is calculated by transferring test data (S100-S130). The transferred data are deleted, and also, a choice, by which a moving image file can be generated within the range of the transfer speed, among choices of setting values of a parameter (an image size and image quality) regarding moving image photographing is set as a selectable choice (S140, S150). A moving image photographing setting screen is displayed so as to make the selectable choice selectable (S160). The moving image file is generated corresponding to the parameter selected via the moving image photographing setting screen. As a result, even when the data transfer rate of the storage medium is slow, the moving image data can be further surely transferred, and also, the setting regarding the photographing of the moving image can be further properly executed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
