<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fundus camera capable of reducing a burden of illumination light on a subject and obtaining an image with a deep depth of photography. <P>SOLUTION: This fundus camera has a halogen lamp 101 for emitting observation illumination light and a xenon lamp 103 for emitting photography illumination light. The fundus camera also comprises an illumination optical system 100 for switching the illumination light to irradiate an eye E to be examined, a photography optical system 120 with a diaphragm 121 whose diaphragm value is variable for observing and photographing the fundus oculi Ef based on the fundus reflection light of the illumination light, and a control part 20 for increasing the diaphragm value of the diaphragm 121 in irradiating the eye E to be examined with the photography illumination light larger in the diaphragm value when irradiating the eye to be examined with the observation illumination light. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
