PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor and a control method thereof and a computer program, which verify the data integrity of a converted document file after data conversion is applied to the document file. SOLUTION: First irreversible compressed data is calculated from the document file. Data conversion is applied to the document file so that a converted document file is formed. Second irreversible compressed data is calculated from the formed converted document file.
