PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for re-liquefying BOG generated in an LNG storage tank while avoiding an increase in the size of the device or a facility, effectively suppressing the cavitation of a re-liquefied BOG booster pump, and easily executing liquid level control in a re-liquefied BOG drum even during a minimum flow from the re-liquefied BOG booster pump. SOLUTION: In the device 300 for re-liquefying BOG generated in the LNG storage tank, BOG generated in the LNG storage tank 1 is compressed and then guided into a heat exchanger 7A, the BOG guided into the heat exchanger 7A by delivered LNG is cooled and re-liquefied, and the re-liquefied BOG is temporarily stored in a drum 8, compressed by the booster pump 10 and then delivered into a vaporizer 12. Part of the delivered LNG guided from the LNG storage tank 1 into the heat exchanger 7A is guided as supercooled LNG via a control valve 11a into a pump suction of the booster pump 10.
