<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spring-structured conductive polymer actuator that can be easily mass-produced while having a high elastic force and excellent responsiveness. <P>SOLUTION: The spring-structured conductive polymer actuator uses a spring base material 2 that is made of an elastic material and is pattern-formed in a spring shape. A conductor layer 5 having higher conductivity than that of the spring base material 2 is formed on the spring base material. A conductive polymer layer 6 is formed on the spring base material 2 by electrolytic polymerization using the conductor layer 5 as an electrode.
