<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to easily wear a walking aid device, comprising a seat member 1 for the user to be seated in such a way as to astride the seat member, a leg link 2 connected to the seat member and a drive source 9 capable of driving the leg link in the direction of pushing up the seat member to support at least part of the user's weight by the leg link via the seat member, by himself/herself. <P>SOLUTION: The walking aid device has a grip part 1d in the seat member 1 to be gripped by the user. The walking aid device performs such wearing assisting control when gripping of the grip part 1d is detected by a gripping detection means as to drive the leg link 2 in the direction of pushing up the seat member 1 till the contact of the seat member 1 with the crotch of the user is detected by a seating detection means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
